Abstracts are now being accepted for the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Wisconsin Urological Society.  

The meeting will take place on April 3-4, 2009 at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, WI. We will kick off the event with our annual banquet on Friday evening, April 3rd, and guest speakers, resident and member presentations and exhibits on Saturday, April 4th.

In keeping with this year’s main meeting topics of Pediatric Urology and Female Urology, we have lined up nationally known speakers Mike Mitchell, MD of Children’s Hospital of WI and Linda Brubaker, MD from Loyola University to provide state-of-the art presentations. A session on “Practical Matters for the Practicing Urologist” will round out the day providing important practice management, socioeconomic and advocacy information that will be relevant for all practicing Wisconsin urologists.

The call for abstracts is open to members and non-members of the Society and we encourage all Wisconsin residents to submit a presentation for our annual Resident’s Competition. 1st and 2nd place cash awards are given to residents from both the Madison and Milwaukee residents programs. The deadline to submit abstracts is NOON central time on January 15, 2008.
